  • Albert Buixadé Farré, was elected as Honorary Member of IGMS GrC

    Albert-Buixadé-Farré2Mr. Albert Buixadé Farré, was elected unanimously by IGMS GrC BoD on June 1st/2016 as Honorary Member of IGMS GrC.

    Albert led an international team of 27 scholars and professionals in researching the viability of Arctic shipping, publishing in 2014 the paper Commercial Arctic shipping through the Northeast Passage: routes, resources, governance, technology, and infrastructure (Polar Geography, 2014). He holds a BA in business management, and is an MA graduate from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, having specialized in Pacific Asia, public policy, and maritime studies.

    IGMS GrC, welcomed Mr. Albert Buixadé Farré, further stating that IGMS GrC is getting closer into succeeding its mission by having such esteemed individuals on board.
