Posidonia 2018 – The Best Posidonia Ever
Another Posidonia event, the biggest maritime event in the world, came to an end, leaving the best impressions to all the participants and visitors. This was the best Posidonia in its half century history. More than 1.920 participants from 92 countries, and an astonishing 15.000 visitors arrived at the Metropolitan expo during this five day event. Except for the exhibition and the big deals, Posidonia is also famous for its glamorous parties organized by famous shipowners, and not only, as well as other events that take place before or during the exhibition. The Posidonia sailing cup took place on Friday before the Posidonia, and on Sunday a 5k running event was organized, among other events.
IGMS participated in Posidonia both as visitors and exhibitors, since some of our members had their companies’ booths in the exhibition area. Several groups of our institute visited the exhibition and attended some of the parties during the week.
